It's been a long time, but the day job, a 15-hour per week commute, 2 young kids, and my main blog HackingNetflix kept me so busy I had little time to update this site. However, the job and commute, more than 55 hours per week, are gone (I got riffed), so I have more time on my hands.
This site has always been a labor of love. I shop at Trader Joe's at least twice a week, and it's rare that I visit Stop'n'Shop (our large supermarket). I love to try new products, and we only cheat on TJ's with a few items from Costco and Stew Leonard's.
I'll be posting news, reviews, recipes and more soon. Feel free to contact me with questions, comments, requests and story ideas: trackingtj [at] gmail.com.

I just want to say, Trader Joe's customers are GREAT! We just had a few instances of some individuals trying to take unfair advantage of our generous return policy. But they are in the minority.Usually the people that shop here are upbeat and nice. The crew is wonderful.Trader Joe's is a great company to work for.

What has happened to the wonderful Zen Room Freshener and the equally wonderful lavender pouches that were tossed into the clothes dryer? My Atlanta, Sandy Springs store says they are discontinued......Boo Hiss! Please bring back - much missed.

Expanding beyond these urban markets could be difficult since the infrastructure of the inland markets is largely underdeveloped, with lower consumer incomes and local governments less familiar international business. Also, populations are more dispersed and agriculture is tougher since there is a lack of water and the soil is poor.Further west,China is mostly desert and is sparsely populated. However,we think Chinese incomes and spending will continue to rise, urban populations will continue to grow, and expansion into other areas of China will most likely happen over time, all fueling continued growth in China. Like most U.S. companies,Nike believes there is a substantial growth opportunity
