Several people have written, asking if Trader Joe's sold franchises.
I'm sorry, but all of the stores are owned by a trust created by Theo Albrecht from the Aldi Group, a retail giant with more than 7,500 stores around the world.

Trader Joe's eyes first Raleigh store
Aging shopping center could become home to grocer's third Triangle location
Triangle Business Journal - July 27, 2007
by Amanda Jones Hoyle
The first Triangle location of Trader Joe's opened late last year in Cary.
RALEIGH - Trader Joe's, a specialty grocer that's building a cult-like following coast to coast, is eyeing Raleigh for its third Triangle store.
Local real estate sources say the California grocery chain wants to open a store in Raleigh, and it has started lease discussions with representatives of the Holly Park shopping center on Wake Forest Road near the Beltline.

There are so may of us transplanted Californians here in the Dallas area. We really need a TJ's, expecially in the Frisco area. I shopped in the Sacramento and Folsom stores in Ca every other day and my family really misses the wonderful meals we shared using your products.
Please give us a taste of home.

Cypress has everything to support Trader Joes's. It would be great ROI sense to open in this growing community. My family live in the Bay Area and I am so embarrassed by the type of items that I pack in my carry on bag.
It makes pure economic sense to Trader Joes's bottom line to open in this area.
A new community of transplants from California live in this area and surroundings.

Heh. Nice. Are you paying attention to my short probability I have a nice joke. Which of these things don't belong: A tuna, a lobster, or a Chinese guy run over by a truck? The tuna. The other two are crustaceans.
