Several people have written, asking if Trader Joe's sold franchises.
I'm sorry, but all of the stores are owned by a trust created by Theo Albrecht from the Aldi Group, a retail giant with more than 7,500 stores around the world.

I used to live in New Jersey and would go to Trader Joe's in Westwood. I now live in Texas. I would like to see some Trader Joe's here. There are some demographics that would fit the TJ shopper - near Rice University, the Galleria area, possibly Kingwood, Woodlands and Nassau Bay area near NASA.

I heard Trader Joe's is coming to the Raleigh, NC area. Perhaps Cary ?? Is this true and what would be the approx. timeline for opening ? Currently I am 31/2 hrs from the nearest Trader Joes which limits the frequency of visits.
Raleigh would be closer. approx. 2 hrs travel time.

They ARE opening a Trader Joe's in Cary sometime this fall, hallelujah! It's under construction in part of the former Winn-Dixie at Kildaire Farm Road and Cary Parkway. I'm not sure the exact timeline for the opening, but I will be there!

Does Trader Joe's have any plans on opening a store in The Woodlands or Houston Texas area?

I hope you will consider opening a Trader Joe's store in Frisco, TX. Frisco is an affluent suburb north of Dallas. We have TONS of transplanted Californians living in this area and we all agree on one thing...WE WANT A TRADER JOE'S STORE !!!

I think Vermont would be an ideal location for Trader Joe's. This state share the same values as Trader Joe's and would be a perfect fit.

florida has had the antiquated rules of wine shipment over borders finally lifted! I understand that is one consideration. I fly to LA alot for work and actually ask for more LA opportunities so I can get to Trader Joe's! I have terrible luck! Lived in Chicago for 12 years, not more than 6mos after I left, they began building one of their now more than a dozen stores less than 5 miles from my former home. Now in Orlando, have heard of talk of maybe S Park Ave as a consideration. Lots of foot traffic year round, many upscale retailers along that stretch of town. just wondering thx

Please bring Trader Joe's to the Houston area! (Several posts about this seem to have gone unanswered.) My family had just moved from Southern CA to Philadelphia PA when TJ's rolled out in Phily! Now we're in The Woodlands outside of Houston and WE NEED TJ'S! (Especially my daugher who is allergic to wheat.) I know there are lots and lots of California transplants here who would love to have a TJ's nearby! Please, please, please!?! (Visualize faces of cute kids begging here...)
