Cathy at the CFO (Chief Family Officer) blog has a recipe for a yogurt berry parfait using Trader Joe's granola. I make them all the time for breakfast, but I use Trader Joe's Ginger Granola and strawberry yogurt (it tastes a lot better than it sounds).
We love the combination of Trader Joes High Fiber Cereal [Bran] sprinled with Trader joes Ginger Granola. The La Mesa store was completly out Monday and none for the near future.
I am despretly looking up recipes for ginger granola but doupt that I can make taste as good.

That ginger granola is a little bit too much for my taste buds... especially in the morning. I prefer the Hemp granola on mixed-berry yogurt.

I was shocked to find that Trader Joe's has discontinued its Ginger Granola, at least at its Maryland stores. Even though I'm a longtime shopper at Trader Joe's, I'm taking my business elsewhere because that hard-to-find item was the main thing that kept me going to their stores in the first place. It's an unfortunate business move on their part.

In San Diego, Trader's stopped carrying the Ginger Granola in bags for a very short time, but then replaced it with the same thing (pretty much) in regular cereal boxes. The Ginger box is yellow.
And if anyone does come up with a recipe even close, please let me know!

I live near Newport,RI and we have a Office Depot on West Main Road in Middletown,RI thats going out of business. Everyone here would love to see a Traders Joes go in. We have at least an hour to an hour and a half ride to the nearest store. This site would be perfect for you.

Badly bothered by the disappearance of Ginger Granola in the yellow box, and the appearance of a multiplicity of uninteresting OTHER granolas, some of which in desparation I tested. NOT Interesting.
and yes, why in the blazes do I have to drive from Rhode Island to Cambridge or Dedham or Brookline in order to get this good food for self and two other families????
SO, if anyone knows the name of the prime supplier they were getting it from, that would be just wonderful.
