Hey, there's supposed to be TJ's coming into Bellingham, WA. What's the story on that? I don't see any information and the location here in the 'ham doesn't look like there's anything going on as far as renovation or getting ready for a TJs at all.
What's the score here?

Trader Joes does not franchise and is not publicly traded.
Living in Lakeland, Tampa or Orlando would be just fine with me for a new store. The Atlanta staff have indicated that the Atlanta distribution center must be built before they can expand to Florida. They are currently shipping all product from the Chicago center, which is a pretty long haul. After an Atlanta distribution center is complete, I would expect to see stores at least in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, and Tampa/Orlando. Of course, I don't actually know anything...

Hi,
I just moved from Long Beach, California to New Port Richey, Florida. NPR is about 40 minutes north of Tampa, in Pasco County.
I am devistated to find no Trader Joe's in NPR, in fact no TJ's in the whole of Florida!!! Whats the deal here??? There were at least 3 TJ's just in Long Beach!
There is a commercial plot of land on the corner of Ridge Road, and Little Road, (by the way it's not that little!). There is going to be a Home Depot, and some other stuff, but they still have land availible, so come on, lets put a nice big Trader Joes there.
Another thing, why are there no Trader Joes in Florida? Your in just about every other state.
Thank you for reading my thoughts, seriously we really want a TJ's in Florida near us.
Anne-Marie
Ps: I'm having to get my husband, who is a pilot to pick me some stuff up from Trader Joes while he is out on trips. Of course he can't get any thing like all our groceries. Just a few little things.

RE: TJ in FLORIDA:
They have been talking about setting up an "ATLANTA" distribution center for YEARS! Come on TJs.. Your SOUTHEAST Clients are missing you terribly!
Maybe you should go into 'cohoots' with Southwest, Spirit and Continental Airlines... Fly to TJs for only 'pennies'.. Fill those Trader Joes suitcases and fly home!!
Gosh... Spirit Airlines to the DC area - for only pennies' would do the trick for me..., and a good set of luggage should just about do the trick!
Missing TJs in South Florida-- Broward, Palm Beach and Dade counties.. :)

Excellent - excellent re Trader Joe's move to Bellingham!! I will be moving there later in the year and I was trying to determine how I would accomodate my TJ addiction. TJ's cannot be beaten for anything and they have the most exceptionable staff. Truly a delight at which to shop.
Bellingham will now be perfect!!

Please open a Trader Joe's in Colorado!!! I am hooked on so many of the products, and I always stock up when I am in New Mexico, but I KNOW that you would do great in the Denver/Boulder area. I have a ton of friends who love the food, but have no way of getting it. I have also heard that all stores are allowed one liquor license to sell liquor alongside food in the state of Colorado. And all we need is one really well placed store and we'd all be happy!!! Pretty please.

I moved to Denver from Calif. and also suffer from TJ withdrawl! That's true that TJs could offer liquor in one store here. But when I'm in Philly and go to a TJs there to stock up on nuts and things, they have no liquor due to state laws, so the liquor thing would not stop them from coming to Colorado. I'd like to have the cheap wine and beer, but mostly I need everything else they sell. TJs would do crazy business in Denver with all us California transplants. Everyone here seems to know about TJs.

Ketchum Idaho would be the perfect location for a Trader Joes. This city is totally health conscious! And I would love to have a store where I can actually afford to buy healty foods! Pretty Please ....

i got hooked in boston, and was thrilled when they opened the TJ's in NYC. I lugged my groceries on 2 subways, sometimes 3 times a week. I now live in Miami, and would travel far and wide for a trader joe's.
They got as far south as Atlanta...Miami's not toooooo far away!

I heard rumor that TJ's was opening a new location in Liberty Lake, WA. Is that true? Everyone in Coeur d'alene really wants a store near by....many of us here are from L.A. and miss it.

Until February I lived in the SF bay area with a Trader Joes that I had entirely memorized a 1/2 mile from my home. I now live in Vancouver, BC and am suffering tremendously from TJ withdrawls. Surely Bellingham is the ideal spot for all of us ex-pats who are jonesing for TJ's not to mention the entire population of Bellingham. Soon is not quick enough! P.S. Myself and a few friends alone could probably keep you profitably!

My family lived in S. Cal. for 40 yrs-now in Fort Worth Texas. There are THOUSANDS of LA/ OC people here and THOUSANDS more on their way-please build a store or two in the DFW area.

I would love to see you open a Trader Joe's in Kitsap County. Maybe Silverdale (old Barnes & Noble Store), East Bremerton (Old Lowes Building) or find a place in Poulsbo. The store would do very well, especially in Silverdale or East Bremerton.

Hello everyone,
Re: TRADER JOE's in TORONTO, CANADA
We so greatly enjoyed the Trader Joe's experience when we were visiting with friends down in California. Whole Foods has in recent years entered the Canadian marketplace, including Toronto. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Trader Joe's to this glorious city!
A note to senior management of Trader Joe's...come on up to Toronto, Canada....You will not be disappointed!

SF transplant in Toronto... We NEED a Trader Joe's here... Come on guys - largest city in Canada, close to 6 million in the area - it'd be perfect! (and give Vancouver one too!)

Yes, we would love a TJ's in the Orlando area....in fact anywhere in the Central Florida area. I love to shop there when in Philadelphia...but I'm not there very often.

I agree. We desperately need a Trader Joe's in the central or north Florida area!
