There are many ways you can contact Trader Joe's. You can always call or visit your local store and the staff will try to get your question answered or your problem solved. If you don't know the number of your local store you can click here or call 800-746-7857.
If you absolutely must speak with someone at the Trader Joe's corporate office you can call them at 626-599-3700 (customer service is extension 3035). If you want to sent them a thank-you note, suggestion or complaint, you can mail it to:
West coast: Trader Joe's, PO Box 5049, Monrovia, CA 91017
East coast: 117 Kendrick Street, Suite 700, Needham, MA 02494
There's also a lot of great information on the Trader Joe's Web site.
My company is interested in purchasing ad space on your website. Right now we wanted to find out about placing a text based ad on the page http://www.trackingtraderjoes.com/2005/08/new_business_op.html
However we would also be willing to have our ad shown on all pages of your site at your discretion. Currently we would be willing to pay you $ .60 for every click that this ad receives.
If you decide to accept this proposal please create your ExpoActive account using the following dynamic link
http://www.expoactive.net/r/?r=bba32b526f908760f851c13919028695
After creating your ExpoActive account you will be able to view the actual ad that we would like to place on your website. If you agree to display this Ad on your website you will be provided with a short HTML segment that you simply paste on to your site's pages wherever you believe the Ad would be most effective. In the event that you feel the ad you have been offered would be more relevant on a different website that you operate, it is fine to place it there providing the visitor demographics are similar.
You will then immediately begin earning $ .60 every time a visitor of your website clicks this ad. At any time you will be able to log into your account and view your balance. The money you earn will be sent to you via check or certified money order on a monthly basis.
We hope you choose to accept our proposal, as we look forward to advertising with you ASAP!
Sincerely,
Pete Caxivo

Hello, What needs to happen to have someone consider placing a Trader Joe's in a particular area? I believe we have a very vital, up & coming area that would benefit your corporation. Prices are inexpensive NOW in a very art based community. Thanks for getting back to me in advance. Very excited, Hope Helton

I bought at Trader Joe Tucson (Grant Road) location a package of "Beef Sirt Steak rolled with blue cheese". I wanted something different for dinner and that caught my eye. However, when pan frying them, the cheese melted away and, it was cold in the middle. We LOVE rate steak but these were COLD. I wonder what would be like to cook them on the grill - no cheese left in hte middle? I was very disappointed for the first time with your prodiuct. The idea was excellent but this was difficult to cook to medium rare.

...And if you want to contact the "Corporate Headquarters" in Needham Massachusetts, call 781-433-0234. This number is hard to come by for some reason!
Why do so many people think you represent TJ's? "Come to my town, wah wah!" :) Thanks for the interesting site.

Thanks to Trader Joe's!!! After much campaigning, Trader Joe's has FINALLY decided to sell eggs from FREE RANGE chickens. This means that hundreds of thousands of chickens (who give their entire lives to providing for us food) can now live less torture-full lives. It's a step in the right direction. Bravo!

Often, your nearest Trader Joe's store is the best place to find information concerning Trader Joe's. Our knowledgeable and friendly Hawaiian-shirted crew will go out of their way to provide you with the information you need to make informed buying decisions.

I moved from So Cal to Medford, OR, just north of the California border. It's considered the second fastest appreciating real estate market in the U.S. That's because everyone is coming here from CA! We need a Trader Joes. We have a huge string of small towns and cities in a valley that is a hotbed of vineyards and sustainable organic farms -- a huge growing region. All together, I think our population totals something like 250,000, and everybody from all miles and miles around come to Medford to shop at -- say, Costco, Lowe's, ad infinitum. Trader Joes is sorely missed by all who live here.

We are located in the Central California area and really need your services. Fresno has two stores, both of which require an hour of travel. Hanford is growing by leaps and bounds and so many people have mentioned how much we need your store here. There is no store like yours near here.
We may appear small but we pull from a very large geographical area, that has a larger population than most would expect.
Would a store in this area ever be considered in the near future?
Thank you for attending to this question. Diana Gillham

How does one email Trader Joes? Why isn't there any contact info on their website? There are two midwest markets which would love to have TJ's - Independence, Missouri and, on the west side of Indianapolis, around the newly thriving Plainfield shopping district.

I have grown to love and enjoy the trader joe's in the Chicago area. My parents love a visit to this unique store when they come to visit me. They live near the town of Goshen, Indiana where a trader joes I am sure would be a very good fit. Is there any way to contact the company and make requests for future locations?

I live in Southern Oregon. The nearest Trader Joe's is a hundred miles or more in any direction. Grants Pass, where I live is a high volume Tourist area with a population of approx. 100,000 with the surrounding area's and Medford, ore. approx. 25 miles away with surrounding population of approx. 200.000. I know that if you would consider putting a store in our region you would not be the least bit disappointed. Thank you for your time sincerely, R.C.

I just want to say I am a Trader Joe's Advocate! We have lived in the CA, and Nevada areas with access to a Trader Joe's within miles of my home. We are currently living in the Nashville area, Franklin TN. would be a great area for introducing your company to this area. All we have is Wild Oats. Please consider this option.

I am trying to find out if you have plans to open a store in Colorado.
Also, is TJ a franchise?

We moved from CA to Dallas TX, My family is of vegetarians and does not eat eggs. For our celebrations We miss TJ's Mud pie(eggless). I am sure Dallas would love this store as much as californian's love it. Ikea came to dallas after we moved in 2005 so now its time for Trader Joe's

Clearly there are many people who adore TJ's and would love to have a store in their local community. I am from Boise, Idaho, and Boise has been rated the #1 spot in America to start a business or a career (Forbes, May 2005 http://www.forbes.com/2005/05/05/05bestplaces.html), and our population is growing at a 60% rate per year.
Can TJ's corporate office please put the policy and/or procedure on their website about how new locations are determined and if franchising is a growth option for TJ?
Thank you, Christi

I wanted to encourage you to open a store in Lake Placid, NY. Recently the Tops supermarket chain closed down their store and the building is currently available. I think Lake Placid would be an excellent location for a Whole Foods for many reasons. Here are a few that come immediately to mind:
- Lake Placid was the site of two winter Olympic games (1932 and 1980) and continues to host several Olympic teams. It is also host to the Iron Man Triathlon, many World Cup events and sports competitions of all kinds. There is a natural healthy eating ethic among this demographic and I think you would find them frequenting your store.
- Lake Placid is the main hub for the Adirondack Park, the largest park in the continental US. Over 6 million acres of protected land and the highest peaks in the northeast bring a large backpacking clientelle to the area both winter and summer.
- Lake Placid is increasingly drawing higher end tourists. The Village was featured in Vogue last year and now has a film festival which features guests like Martin Scorcese. It also has one of the most important equestrian hunter/jumper competitions in the nation.
So those are my thoughts. Here's a link to Lake Placid's main website: http://www.lakeplacid.com

PLEASE COME TO FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE!!!!!!! (Just south of Nashville) There is a huge BOOM in the housing market right now and I know the business would be supported. We have Wild Oats, which severely PALES in comparison to TJs! We stock up at TJs every time we are visiting family in Columbus, OH or Fairfax, VA, however we can't ever take advantage of cold/frozen items due to lengthy travel. PLEASE COME TO FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE!!!!!!
